I was honoured to participate in the Startup Ecosystem Connect at Parul University Goa, as part of the Goa Startup Festival 2026.
The festival brought together startup founders, investors, industry leaders, mentors and academic stakeholders to discuss innovation, entrepreneurship and the growth of Goa’s startup ecosystem.

One theme stood out for me:
Strong businesses need strong ecosystems.
For emerging entrepreneurs, access to industry experience, mentorship, academic knowledge and meaningful networks can make a significant difference.
Having worked across corporate finance and entrepreneurship, I have seen the value of connecting practical business experience with learning.
When industry and academia work together, students and emerging entrepreneurs gain greater exposure to real-world challenges—and opportunities to turn ideas into viable businesses.
The Startup Ecosystem Connect was an opportunity to reflect on how stronger industry-academia partnerships, entrepreneurship education and mentorship can contribute to a more resilient startup ecosystem in Goa.
A sincere thank you to Parul University Goa and the organising team for creating a platform for these conversations.
The event was a reminder that entrepreneurship is not built by individuals alone. It grows through knowledge, connections, collaboration and the willingness to share experience.

Continuing the Conversation
For me, such conversations are also an opportunity to keep learning, mentoring and contributing to the entrepreneurial ecosystem.
